21 Days to Move, Breathe and Reconnect
Most people know they should move more, breathe better, reduce stress, and take better care of themselves. The problem is not knowledge — it is creating a simple way to begin.
Over 21 days, we will use gentle movement, breathing, posture, mobility, and awareness practices to help restore something many people have lost in modern life: connection with their own body.
The challenge is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. You do not need to be flexible, athletic, spiritual, or fit to benefit. You simply need a willingness to show up consistently for yourself.
Why it matters!
Modern life places enormous stress on the human body and nervous system.
Many people now live with:
-
persistent stress and anxiety,
-
stiffness and tension,
-
shallow breathing,
-
fatigue,
-
chronic pain,
-
Chronic health conditions
-
poor sleep,
-
and a constant sense of mental overload.
The body responds to these pressures by becoming tight, defensive, and less adaptable. Breathing changes. Movement becomes restricted. Energy levels drop. Recovery slows down.
Qigong and yoga work in a different way from most forms of exercise.
Rather than forcing the body harder, they help restore balance and communication throughout the whole system.
Why 21 Days?
Real change happens through consistency.
Twenty-one days is long enough for people to begin noticing meaningful changes:
-
easier movement,
-
improved energy,
-
reduced stress,
-
better posture,
-
calmer breathing,
-
improved focus,
-
and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
Small daily practices repeated consistently are often more powerful than occasional intense efforts.
This challenge is not about perfection.
It is about creating a healthier relationship with your body and nervous system — one day at a time.

Why Support the MND Charity?
This challenge also carries a deeper purpose.
Motor Neurone Disease affects movement, independence, communication, and quality of life in profound ways. Supporting MND research and care reminds us that movement is something many people lose far too early, and many of us simply take for granted.
By participating in this challenge, people are not only investing in their own health — they are helping support individuals and families facing extraordinary physical challenges every day.
Every breath, stretch, movement, and moment of practice becomes part of something larger:
-
improving your own wellbeing,
-
raising awareness,
-
and contributing to a meaningful cause.

Why You Should Join?
You do not need to wait until your body breaks down before taking care of it.
You do not need to be in pain before learning how to move better.
You do not need to be exhausted before learning how to breathe and recover properly.
This challenge is an opportunity to:
-
reconnect with your body,
-
improve your health,
-
create positive habits,
-
support an important charity,
-
and become part of a community moving toward better physical and mental wellbeing together.
The body is designed to move.
The nervous system is designed to adapt.
Health improves when we give both the right conditions.
Join us for 21 days and experience what can happen when you begin moving, breathing, and living more consciously.

When I first started teaching, the 1st XV rugby team at Bishop Wand School was lead by an inspirational scrum half Baz Hathaway. I had the great pleasure of not only teaching Baz but, also playing with him in the school old boys team. Our friendship is still strong today. Baz is an incredible inspiration to those who know him, both before and after his diagnosis of MND. He has an amazing family who support him and the strength and resilience they have all shown is such a humbling thing to have been witness over the years.
